Backup WordPress Blog Hosted on Pair Networks

Backing up your WordPress blog is important, WordPress.org provides a good guide on proper backup practices. Below are directions for backing up a WordPress blog hosted with Pair Networks.

WordPress Site

The easiest way to backup your WordPress site is as part of backup of your whole website.

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on the "Back Up Your Data" in the File Management section of the Account Control Center.
  3. Choose your preferred compression method, select Web as the directory to back up, and click "Back Up Selected Directory".
  4. The backup is stored in Backup directory inside your Home directory.

WordPress Database

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on the "Manage Your Databases" in the Database Management section of the Account Control Center.
  3. Click on the name of your WordPress database from list of databases.
  4. Click on "Create Backup".
  5. Enter the full-user password for your WordPress database and then click "Create Backup Of Database".
  6. The backup is stored in Backup directory inside your Home directory.
