Request a Malware Review from Yahoo

Once the malware on your website has been removed a malware review needs to be requested from Yahoo to get the malware warning removed from Yahoo's search listings ("Warning: Dangerous Downloads").

  1. Go to the Yahoo! Search Webmaster / Site Owner Support Form .
  2. In the drop down box under the text "What are you writing about?" select "I have a concern regarding the SearchScan warnings for my site on Yahoo! Search".
  3. In the drop down box under the text "If you are disputing a rating, what is the reason?" select "Exploits".
  4. In the Comments field explain that you believe that you have fixed the security issues.
  5. Fill out the rest of the fields on the page.
  6. Then click "Submit"
