Google Map With Multiple Locations Added to Website
Show clients visiting your website an interactive map which displays your locations, with an embedded map powered by the Google Maps mapping service. A map that displays a single location is also available, if you to prefer to show each location on it's own map. The maps interactive features, which give clients a better view of where your locations are, include the ability drag the map, zoom the map down to street level, and display an aerial view with or without map data overlayed.
Location Details and Custom Driving Directions
The info window, that pops up when the marker for one of your locations is clicked, displays the address, operating hours, the phone number, a link, a photo, or other information you would like included. The information for the info windows is stored in a XML file (example), which you can edit. Clients can enter a starting address and receive customized driving directions to any of your locations. The directions are displayed on the Google Maps website, which allows the client to print or email the directions and gives them the option to see walking and in certain areas public transit and bicycling directions to your locations.
Custom Marker
Optionally, the standard red teardrop marker can be replaced with your logo or other image you provide.
The map is created in JavaScript, so no special software needs to be installed on your server. The Google Maps mapping service supports Internet Explorer 7.0+ (Windows), Firefox 3.0+ (Windows/Mac OS X/Linux), Safari 4+ (Mac OS X/ iOS), Chrome (Windows/Mac OS X/Linux), Android, and BlackBerry 6.
Using the information about your locations and how you would like information formatted in the info windows, your custom marker (if have one), and what size would like your map to be; we create the custom code for your map. Once you are satisfied with the map we can either add it to an existing page, such as your Contact Us or Locations page, or create a new page for the map. You will need to generate a free Google Maps API key for the map to display on your website.
