Magento Community Edition (CE) to Enterprise Edition (EE) Migration

Migration to Magento 2.0
Websites can not be upgraded from 1.x to 2.0. Instead a migration of the data from the existing 1.x installation to a new 2.0 installation is done. Themes and extensions designed for Magento 1.x can not be used in Magento 2.0, so going to version 2.0 is major change and may not be possible at this point if extensions you use are not available for the new version yet. Magento 1.x will continue to be supported until 2018, so there is no need to rush to 2.0.
