TYPO3 6.1 Released, Support Ends for TYPO3 4.6
TYPO3 6.1 was released today. The new version improves the File Abstraction Layer, improves the UI of the file manager, and brings up to date the database connection code.
More information is available in the release notice and the release notes.
With the release of TYPO3 6.1, support has ended for TYPO3 4.6. Support for TYPO3 4.5 continues until October of 2014.

Support Ends for Moodle 2.1
Support for Moodle 2.1 ended in December. Anyone still running 2.1 should upgrade to a newer release.

Support Ends for MediaWiki 1.18.x
Support ended for MediaWiki 1.18.x at the end of November. Anyone still running 1.18.x should upgrade to either 1.19.x or 1.20.x. You can find more about MediaWiki’s version lifecycle here.

Support Ends for Joomla 1.5
Support for Joomla 1.5 ended in September. Anyone one still using version 1.5 should migrate to 2.5 or 3.0.

Support Ends for Moodle 2.0
Support for Moodle 2.0 ended in June. Anyone still running 2.0 should upgrade to a newer release.
Support for Moodle 1.9 was extended and it will continue to receive fixes for serious security issues until Decmber of 2013.

Support ended for MediaWiki 1.17.x on June 22. Anyone still running 1.17.x should upgrade to either 1.18.x or 1.19.x. You can find more about MediaWiki’s version lifecycle here.

TYPO3 4.7 Released, Support Ends for TYPO3 4.4
TYPO3 4.7 was released today.The new version includes HTML5 conformity, accessibility by default, improved performance, and more.

With the release of TYPO3 4.7, support has ended for TYPO3 4.4.

Support Ends for Joomla 1.7
Support for Joomla 1.7 will end today. Anyone one still using version 1.7 should upgrade to version 2.5.1.
Please note that support for Joomla 1.5 has not ended, it will continue until April and “major security issues will be addressed appropriately and patches will be provided accordingly until the release of Joomla 3.0 in September 2012″.

MediaWiki 1.17.1 and 1.18 Released, Support Ends for 1.16.x
MediaWiki 1.17.1 and 1.18 were released on Monday. MediaWiki 1.17.1 contains to security fixes for two issues that could lead disclosure of information from private wikis. MediaWiki 1.18 introduces a number of improvements including better gender support, improved file metadata support, improved directionality support, and protocol-relative URLs.

With the release of MediaWiki 1.18, support has ended for 1.16.x.

TYPO3 4.6 Released, Support Ends for TYPO3 4.3
TYPO3 4.6 was released today. The new version includes a new localization mechanims, new form generation, performance enhancements, and more. The new version also adds support for salted passwords, MD5 is still used for hashing, and RSA authentication for websites not using SSL during authentication.
The new version also now requires version 5.3.x of PHP, up from the minimum of 5.2.x in the last two versions.

With the release of TYPO3 4.6, support has ended for TYPO3 4.3.
