Joomla 2.5.10 and 3.1.0 Released

Joomla 2.5.10 and 3.1.0 were released today. Joomla 2.5.10 includes a number of bug fixes and Joomla 3.1.0 introduces a number of new features. The new versions fix two medium priority security vulnerabilities and five low priority security vulnerabilities.

Joomla 2.5.9 and 3.0.3 Released

Joomla 2.5.9 and 3.0.3 were released today. Joomla 2.5.9 fixes a number of bugs and one low priority information disclosure vulnerability. Joomla 3.0.3 introduces two language related features, fixes a number of bugs, and fixes three low priority information disclosure vulnerabilities.

Joomla 2.5.8 and 3.0.2 were released today. The new versions fix a medium priority  clickjacking security vulnerability and fix a number of bugs.

Support Ends for Joomla 1.5

Support for Joomla 1.5 ended in September. Anyone one still using version 1.5 should migrate to 2.5 or 3.0.

Joomla 3.0.1 Released

Joomla 3.0.1 was released today. The version fixes numerous bugs and a low priority cross-site scripting (XSS) security vulnerability. To “update a site from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1, you need to install the Joomla 3.0.0 Hot Patch before doing the update to Joomla 3.0.1″.

Joomla 3.0.0 Released

Joomla 3.0.0 was released yesterday. The new version includes a number of new features, including support for PostgreSQL.

Joomla 2.5.x is a Long Term Support release that will continue to be supported until the spring of 2014, so for those not in need of new features in Joomla 3.0.x they can continue to use Joomla 2.5.x until then.

Joomla 2.5.7 was released today. The new version adds the ability to install language packs in the Extension Manager. It also includes bug fixes and fixes for two low priority cross-site scripting (XSS) security vulnerabilities.
