phpBB 3.1.5 Released

phpBB 3.1.5 was released yesterday. The new version includes more events, which act “as entry points for extensions to modify phpBB’s behaviour”, bug fixes, and security improvements.

phpBB 3.0.14 and 3.1.4 Released

phpBB 3.0.14 and 3.1.4 were released today. The new versions include several bug fixes and fix a “minor” security issue that could have “allowed users of the Google Chrome browser to be redirected to external domains (e.g. on login) when provided with a malicious URL from a third party”. Version 3.1.4 also adds more events, which “act as entry points for extensions to modify phpBB’s behaviour”.

phpBB 3.0.13-PL1 Released

phpBB 3.0.13-PL1 was released on Friday. The new version fixes several bugs that were introduced in 3.0.13 that could cause error message to be shown all pages.

phpBB 3.0.13 includes several security improvements and improves compatibility with “PHP 5.6, Apache 2.4, Internet Explorer 11, and Microsoft Azure”.

phpBB 3.1.3 Released

phpBB 3.1.3 was released yesterday. The new version includes bug fixes and minor feature improvements. The new version also fixes a security issue that would allow “administrator on a forum to use the ImageMagick binary path setting to execute code on the server”.

phpBB 3.1.2 Released

phpBB 3.1.2 was released today. The new version includes bug fixes, improvements in the upgrade process from 3.0 to 3.1, and fixes for two security vulnerability. One security vulnerability could lead to a denial of service for the website and the other could allow an extension ” to load additional HTML in the extensions administration interface through the version check file”

phpBB 3.1.1 Released

phpBB 3.1.1 was released on Saturday. The new version fixes several issues introduced in 3.1, including a minor cross-site scripting (XSS) security vulnerability.

phpBB 3.1 Released

phpBB 3.1 was released today. Among the new features our extensions (allowing for improved customization over MODs), a notification system, a responsive default theme, and more.

The new version increases the system requirements to PHP version 5.3.3 or greater and for those using PostgreSQL at least version 8.3 of that.

phpBB 3.0.10 was released yesterday. The new version includes two new caching backends and a number of bug fixes.The new version also includes modifications to insure compatibility with the upcoming PHP 5.4.
