phpBB 3.1.1 Released

phpBB 3.1.1 was released on Saturday. The new version fixes several issues introduced in 3.1, including a minor cross-site scripting (XSS) security vulnerability.

phpBB 3.1 Released

phpBB 3.1 was released today. Among the new features our extensions (allowing for improved customization over MODs), a notification system, a responsive default theme, and more.

The new version increases the system requirements to PHP version 5.3.3 or greater and for those using PostgreSQL at least version 8.3 of that.

phpBB 3.0.11 was released Saturday. The new version includes bug fixes and “improved compatibility with PHP 5.4″.

phpBB 3.0.10 Released

phpBB 3.0.10 was released yesterday. The new version includes two new caching backends and a number of bug fixes.The new version also includes modifications to insure compatibility with the upcoming PHP 5.4.

phpBB 3.0.9 Released

phpBB 3.0.9 was released yesterday. The new version includes bug fixes and some new features. The new features include two new caching backends and the ability to require “an anti-spambot task” to be solved after a number failed login attempts from an IP address, before this the failed login restriction was only configurable for the number of failed login attempts on a per-user basis.
