TYPO3 6.1 Released, Support Ends for TYPO3 4.6

TYPO3 6.1 was released today. The new version improves the File Abstraction Layer, improves the UI of the file manager, and brings up to date the database connection code.

With the release of TYPO3 6.1, support has ended for TYPO3 4.6. Support for TYPO3 4.5 continues until October of 2014.

TYPO3 4.5.25, 4.6.18, 4.7.10, 6.0.4 Released

TYPO3 4.5.25, 4.6.18, 4.7.10, and 6.0.4 were released today. The new versions fix a regression introduced in the versions released yesterday. Those versions, 4.5.24, 4.6.17, 4.7.9, and 6.0.3, fixed a critical SQL injection vulnerability in the Extbase Framework and a medium open redirection vulnerability in the access tracking mechanism.

TYPO3 6.0 Released

TYPO3 6.0 was released on Tuesday. The new version includes substantial code improvements, including a rewritten Extension Manager, the ability to store files on location other than the local webserver, and more.

TYPO3 4.5.21, 4.6.14, and 4.7.6 were released today. The new versions contain fixes for bugs and for multiple security vulnerabilities. The security vulnerabilities fixed include a medium severity SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability, two low severity cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, and a low severity information disclosure vulnerability
