Websites can not be upgraded from Magento 1 to 2. Instead, a migration of the data from the existing 1 installation to a new 2 installation is done. Themes and extensions designed for Magento 1 can not be used in Magento 2, so going to version 2 is a major change.

If your extensions are supported in Magento 2 and you have a new Magento 2 theme ready, then we can handle the migration for you. To ensure the migration goes right, we first perform a test of the migration in a directory on your website, which allows you to test out the migration before we migrate the production website.

We can also migrate a Magento 1 website to OpenMage, which is a continuation of Magento 1.
