MediaWiki Upgrade

Keeping your installation of MediaWiki up to date allows you to remain protected against security vulnerabilities, fixes bugs, and major upgrades also add new features and functionality. The current versions of MediaWiki are 1.23.9, 1.24.2, and 1.25.1 (check what version you are currently running). We can do the upgrade it for you following the proper upgrade procedure. We will also upgrade any out of date extensions that are installed.

If your MediaWiki installation has already been hacked, upgrading it will not clean it up. In that situation we can clean up the hack and then upgrade it.

To insure the upgrade goes right, we first perform a test of the upgrade in a directory on your website, which allows you to test out the upgrade before we apply the upgrade to the live website.
