Zen Cart Upgrade
Keeping your installation of Zen Cart up to date is important because it insures your website is not hacked through a known vulnerability in Zen Cart. If your Zen Cart installation has already been hacked we can clean it up and then upgrade it. In addition to making sure your website is secure, new minor releases fix bugs and new major release add new features and functionality. The current version of Zen Cart is 1.5.1 (check what version you are currently running). If you prefer not to upgrade it yourself, we can do it for you using the patch files we have created. Any installed modules need to have a version available for Zen Cart 1.5.1 to insure that they will continue to work. We will upgrade any out of date plugins that are installed.
Once the upgrade has been completed, we test the website to insure the upgrade has not caused any issues. We can usually upgrade your Zen Cart installation in a day.
Hosting Requirements for 1.5.x:
(We can check with your hosting provider to make sure that these requirements are met.)
- PHP version 5.2.14 or greater
- MySQL version 4.1.3 or greater
- Apache 2.0 or greater.
- Apache configured with AllowOverride set to either 'All' or at least both 'Limit' and 'Indexes' parameters, and preferably the 'Options' parameter as well.
- PHP configured to support CURL with OpenSSL

US$100 to upgrade a website running 1.5.0 to 1.5.1. US$150 to upgrade a website running 1.3.9.x to 1.5.1. US$200 to upgrade a website running 1.3.8.x to 1.5.1. US$250 to upgrade a website running 1.3.7.x to 1.5.1. Payment is due after the upgrade has been completed. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or eCheck through PayPal in a number of currencies.
