Check if a Web Page is Redirecting When Accessed from Google
Updated: May 2, 2013
This tool will display what is being served when a page from your website is requested if the website is accessed from Google search and what is being served if the website is accessed directly. If your website is redirecting when accessed through Google the redirection is occurring on your website and is not something that Google is doing. Redirections are commonly caused by modifications of a .htaccess file or code added to one of the website's files (example).
You can get quick access to a check for a web page or a link from your web browser's contextual menu with our extension for Firefox and Chrome.
